Challenge yourself to grow

We are in the business of building responsible students, accountable to each other and their community.

Neurodiversity

Karate is a multi-disciplinary and diverse sport in practice. It truly favours the neurodiverse. The positive aspects of impulsivity, creative thinking, lateral thinking, and a hyperactive mind are all tools of empowerment to the crazy amazing children and adults of today.

Great examples of famous personalities in sports and business that are neurodiverse are Simone Biles (world and Olympic champion), Tyson Fury (undisputed heavy weight boxer of the world), Prince Harry (grandson to the Queen of Great Britain).

Recreational Training

Recreation refers to all those activities that people choose to do to refresh their bodies and minds and make their leisure time more interesting and enjoyable. The program will help you set up a unique personal schedule of easy to do home and out door exercises. You won’t need all the fancy and complex equipment to improve your flexibility, stamina, balance and overall health.

Self-Defense

We run self-defense courses, seminars and one to ones for men and women, of all ages. Self defense as conveyed by the movies is a fallacy and must not be viewed in equal fashion.

Personal Development

The club runs a P.U.S.H. fit Program (Push until something happens) and aim to help you achieve your goals and desires. Our P.U.S.H. fit Programs is designed to create beneficial changes to promoting a healthy lifestyle, we focus on want is important to you: take inches off your waistline and achieve your personal goals.

Thurrock Dojo

True practitioners of the art of karate (and it is an art), recognise that, similarly to Yoga or Meditation, Karate is something that improves the quality of your life, and should be trained for the duration of your life.

“With the utmost of convictions we are strong because we care, Do Mu Kyoku!
